Wasatch Back Relay

This past weekend, I ran the Wasatch Back Relay. It is a relay race from Logan to Park City. Crazy, I know!! I don't really know what I was thinking. There are 12 runners on each team and each runner runs 3 legs of the race. My first leg was 6.7 miles from Millville (my home town) to Hyrum (almost to the dam) starting at about 12:30 p.m. on Friday. Then my second leg was 3 miles somewhere through Morgan at around 1:30 a.m on Saturday morning. (I ran extra fast to keep up with some guy cuz I was afraid of getting eaten by a cougar.) My third leg was 5.3 miles from Oakley to Kamas at around 9:45 a.m. on Saturday morning. I am really glad that I lived to tell about the experience!!
This is my friend Suzie and I completely pooped!! This is after we were finished with our last leg and were just waiting for the rest of our team to finish running.
This is me trying to finish my last leg. I hadn't eaten enough and felt like I was going to pass out. My cute husband came to watch and finished the last mile with me. It was a little rough, to say the least!!
Here we are crossing the finish line!! What a great feeling it was to finish. Great Job Girls!!
Our team posing at the finish line, after almost 32 hours of running, no sleep and hardly any food
Note to self: Never again!! :)

Island Park

Here we are at Crae's family reunion. He's the one on the right!! Ha ha.
The girls loved all the buffalo we saw driving through Yellowstone Park.

Mya, Jaycie, Keslie, Cameron, Allie and Zak. Jaycie has been waiting forever to see Old Faithful. We were hoping she wasn't too disappointed. She loved it!
The poor rhino's tire fell off. It happened at about 10:00 p.m. when Crae, Travis and Zak were out for a ride. Amy (my sister) thought for sure they'd been eaten by a bear. Luckily, they were just fine when we found them!!
Out for a final ride!! What a fun weekend!!!

Our last week of preschool

We took a field trip to the pet store for our snake theme. The kids got to touch snakes and learn all about them. It was a super fun day for all the kids. They loved the fact that they touched
"real snakes".
The kids in awe!
We had a swimming party on our last day. We had to have warm water in the pool, because as you can see, they were a little cold. It was still lots of fun though!
I am so excited for next year! I really miss seeing the kids. It couldn't have been a better year!
